Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expocentre ZAO will hold the 4th International Forum on Intellectual Property – Exporiority'2012

The Forum has gained the official support from the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and is held under the auspices of the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property.
was a great success with 107 speakers from 14 countries, 200 companies and 2500 specialists from 28 countries attending it. The exhibition space made up 3100 m2 and it was the first time that the show ran under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
The Programme of the Forum
- IP Congress,
- Exhibition for Innovative Products and Technology,
- Innovation Competition of Manufacturers.
The IP Congress will comprise two international conferences: Russia's Intellectual Potential Amid New Challenges (including counterfeiting and piracy issues) and IP Issues in the Context of the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. It will also highlight the issues of cooperation with BRICS countries, and offer discussion sessions, seminars and round-table discussions.
Our goal in the coming years is to establish Expopriority as the largest innovation congress and exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe.
The principal topics of the IP Congress'2012 are a Russia's accession to WTO and IP issues, Liability for IP Infringement, Investment in Intangible Assets, Trademarks on the Internet: Law Enforcement Issues and others, reflecting current trends in the IP sector and global challenges facing it.
The keynote part of the Forum is the Exhibition for Innovative Products and Technologies attended by manufacturers and know-how developers, such as companies, research and development institutes, universities, research centres and higher educational institutions. The infrastructure for support and promotion of innovative solutions will be represented by investment and venture funds, startups and science parks. A special role at the event belongs to science cities. For the first time, exhibition organizers will present their projects aimed at creating communication links between innovation developers and the supporting infrastructure.
