On 7 - 9 December 2011 Expocentre and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, the Ministry of Science and Education and the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks will be running the 3rd International Forum on Intellectual Property Expopriority'2011.
The Forum is held with the support from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA), UFI, International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) and the Russian Union of Exhibition and Fairs (RUEF).
In 2011, the Forum will comprise the following events:
The important part of the Forum is the International Exhibition of Innovations. The show pursues the national priority of modernising the economy, and it allows presenting (direct marketing) the newest ideas, including those yet unpatented.
The Forum is a special innovative project for small- and medium-size businesses, including small innovative companies set up under the state-funded R&D and education institutions, as well as individual inventors (in accoradance with Federal Law No. 217-FZ dated 02 August 2009). As in 2010, Expopriority'2011 will be running a special youth programme The Future of Russia to promote inventiveness and creativity among pupils, students and young specialists. Young people, designers for the disabled and individual inventors are offered the best terms of participation in the Exhibition of Innovations.
The additional information about the Forum is available on the www.expo-priority.ru.
The organizers of the Forum do a lot to organize and create a regulation basis for temporary protection of inventions, utility models, industrial designs and trademarks at the official and officially-recognised exhibitions, which ultimately should result in accelerated adoption of innovations.
The 2nd Expopriority International Forum on Intellectual Property was held with great success under the auspices of the Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly at Expocentre Fairgrounds in 2010. It welcomed 425 institutions, firms, organizations and individual inventors. Expopriority'2010 was attended by in excess of 3 500 specialists from 26 countries including Belarus, Brazil, Belgium, Ghana, Germany, China, Israel, Jordan, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Moldova, Nigeria, the Netherlands, UAE, Russia, Slovakia, the USA, the Ukraine, Finland, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Japan. The winners in the Contest of Innovations were presented with 2 gold medals of the WIPO (one of them was given to the best inventor), diplomas, certificates and prizes from the organizers and sponsors.
We thank you for your attention to our Forum and invite you to deliver a lecture or to take part in panel discussions or in the IP Congress at the unique innovative project of 2011 - Exporirority'2011.
Looking forward to our collaboration.
